About the Company

Power Engineers Collaborative is a Midwest engineering firm based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Chicago, Illinois; dedicated to providing services to clients in the Power Industry and Building Systems markets. The company focus began in the power industry providing engineering solutions to Utilities and Independent Power Developers for the expansion, modernization, consolidation, and creation of new power generation assets.

In 2002, the core business included aiding clients in site selection, environmental permitting, equipment studies, financing, preparation of contract document, bid evaluation, contract award, preparation of detailed construction documents, design of auxiliary facilities, engineering services during construction, and training of operating and maintenance personnel.

In 2003, PEC launched its Building Systems Engineering Division (BSE) to aid clients throughout the United States by extending capabilities and towards the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Energy-related needs of the commercial, residential and institutional sectors.

Our work experience ranges from interior developments to high-rise new construction. Business sectors include commercial, retail, data and communication, K-12 and higher educational, food service, high rise development, hotel, multi-family residential, industrial, power, municipal, public works, and parking facilities.

PEC offers clients services in all phases of a MEP project including permitting, conceptual design, project management and detailed design and construction commissioning start-up.

George Shibayama, P.E. 
Principal, President
Mr. Shibayama has more than 40 years of experience in the Power Industry, with a background in the engineering, procurement, and construction of both nuclear and fossil fueled generating facilities. 

 

Matthew W. Brown, P.E.
Principal, Vice President
Mr. Brown has more than 40 years of experience in the Building Systems Engineering and Power Engineering Industries.   His background includes extensive experience in refrigeration, nuclear, fossil fuel, and cogeneration facilities. 

 

Bryan J. Eskra, P.E.
Principal, Vice President
Mr. Eskra has more than 40 years of experience in the Power Industry, with a background in Utility operations and design engineering, OEM design and development, and large project delivery.

 

Ram Madugula, P.E.
Execuitve Vice President
Mr. Madugula has ore than 30 years of professional experience in the Power Industry.  His background includes design projects associated with combined cycles, biomass, coal and IGCC technologies. 

 

Daniel W. Murphy, P.E.
Execuitve Vice President
Mr. Murphy has more than 40 years of experience in the building systems engineering profession. Providing consulting engineering advocacy on a vast array of projects.  As an authority on building and fire codes, Mr. Murphy validates MEP/FP systems are in complaince with building ordinances and appropritae design standards.
