Power Engineers Collaborative, L.L.C. (PEC) is a Midwest engineering firm with office locations in Chicago, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a staff of engineering professionals specializing in power generation from both fossil fuel and renewable sources.

 

PEC is dedicated to providing services to clients in the Power Industry. The company focus began in the Power Industry providing engineering solutions to Utilities and Independent Power Developers for the expansion, modernization, consolidation and creation of new power generation assets.

 

Our core business includes aiding clients in site selection, environmental permitting, equipment studies, financing, preparation of contract document, bid evaluation, contract award, preparation of detailed construction documents, design of auxiliary facilities, engineering services during construction and training of operating and maintenance personnel.

 

PEC participates as the Engineer of Record throughout the development and execution phases of projects utilizing natural gas, biomass, waste products, and other renewable sources including both wind and solar.

PEC operates as an independent division of Juhl Energy, Inc., an established leader in Community-Based Wind Power development and management, focused on wind farms projects throughout the United States and Canada.

 

Juhl Energy Inc. is a Minnesota-based clean energy company focused on the development, financing, construction, ownership and operation of clean energy projects throughout North America. Juhl Energy pioneered community-based wind energy development by creating several currently accepted financial, operational and legal structures which provide local ownership of medium-to-large scale wind farms.  To date, Juhl Energy has developed 28 wind energy projects (378MW) throughout the Midwest and has several other renewable energy projects in various stages of development or acquisition throughout the U.S.
